Our client, an elite US law firm, is looking to strengthen its market-leading Competition practice with the addition of talented mid-level associates.
This is an opportunity to join one of the most highly regarded competition teams in the City, working alongside exceptional lawyers on some of the most complex, high-profile and high-value cross-border transactions in the market.
The team has a genuinely international outlook and has successfully recruited outstanding lawyers from leading firms across the UK, Brussels, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, all of whom have integrated well into the practice.
The partners are looking for candidates with an outstanding academic record, around 2 to 5 years' experience from a leading Competition or FDI practice, and the confidence, commerciality and ambition to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The work is second to none.
You will advise on headline-making M&A transactions, acting for an enviable roster of global clients, with a particularly strong reputation in the private equity space.
Matters span merger control, antitrust investigations and advisory work, foreign investment and national security regimes, as well as broader regulatory issues, offering exceptional breadth alongside genuine responsibility from day one.
