Derby | Quality Inspector We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team at our Derby manufacturing site. Working Hours * 48 hours Monday Thursday: 6.00am 18.00pm Salary 15.98per hour + 9% shift allowance Benefits Package * Competitive salary * Overtime * Company pension scheme * 25 days annual leave + 8 statutory holidays, Christmas shut down * BUPA Health care * Free onsite parking * Death in Service benefit * Long Service awards Purpose of role and key accountabilities: * To provide Quality and Inspection support for both existing and new business opportunities and to develop the Right First-Time philosophy required to become a leading supplier of quality components to the aerospace industry * Maintain quality control within the manufacturing process, in line with business standards and customer requirements * Check and verify the compliance of components produced at all stages within business * Identify reoccurring quality issues and communicate them to the Senior Team Leader along with recommendations * Assist with root cause analysis, using 5 Whys and Ishikawa. * Identify and report any non-conformances * Support, develop and improve the relationship internally between departments * Support and promote improvement activities to directly benefit our products and inspection processes * To …
