Producation Supervisor 📍 Consett | Manufacturing Environment We are currently recruiting for a Producation Supervisor to join our manufacturing team at our Consett site. 💷 £24.63 per hour Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30am-16.00pm / Friday 7.30am-12.30pm Benefits: * Pension * 25 days annual leave + 8 statutory holidays (Christmas shutdown) * Long Service awards * Death in Service Purpose of role and accountabilities: * Leadership skills * Commercial awareness * Problem analysis and decision-making skills * Interpersonal skills / influencing / development * Communication skills across all levels, ability to communicate effectively with internal, and external function, including suppliers. * Be self-motivated with excellent teamwork and communication skills * Able to deal with high pressured situations including immediate reaction to Customer requirements Core skills/attributes needed: * Extensive knowledge of production processes, preferably within the aerospace or automotive industry * Positive flexible attitude, able to form and maintain good relationships at all business levels * First class leadership and motivational skills, people development. * Commitment to continual improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety and environmental management * Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and other modern manufacturing methods. * Educated or willing to work towards a level 3/5 management qualification or equivalent * Ability to use Microsoft office, excel, word, power point, email and other business tools * Able to lead and control projects, and tasks from planning to finish with presentation and analytical skills to completion.
