We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Setter (Days) in a manufacturing environment.

Salary: £51,180 per annum (including 28.5% shift allowance)

Working Hours: 40.25 hours / 4 Shift Pattern / Days = 06:00-18:00 / Nights = 18:00-06:00

Purpose of role and key accountabilities:

  • To produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency.
  • Competently set and operate CNC machines, particularly Mazak.
  • Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard.
  • Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process.
  • Quality check all finished jobs.
  • Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.

Core skills/attributes needed:

  • Fully skilled time served CNC setter/operator (certificates required).
  • Experience of Mazak milling machines.
