We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team at our Derby site.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 06.00am - 18.00pm
Salary: £18.09 per hour plus 9% shift allowance

Purpose of Role and Key Accountabilities:
- Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency
- Competently set and operate CNC machines
- Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
- Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
- Quality check all finished jobs
- Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area
- Work to ISO 50001/14001/45001/9001 standards
- Commitment to continual improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety environmental, energy and sustainability management
- Support the Energy team and consider energy reduction and savings within the scope of your role leading to continuous improvement
Core Skills/Attributes Needed:
- Fully skilled time served CNC setter/operator (certificates required)
- Experience of milling machines – 3 & 5 Axis
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
- Computer literate
- Ability to concentrate to enable quality finished components
- Attention to detail
- Good practical skills
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Able to work safely
- Excellent hand‑to‑eye coordination
- Normal colour vision
