We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with aerospace standards and driving continuous improvement across our operations.
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 (half an hour unpaid lunch), Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Salary: Β£40-45k

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform internal audits of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Investigate and resolve customer rejections, implementing effective corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective actions for audit findings and quality issues.
- Handle internal non-conformance reports and work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
- Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce defects.
Skills:
- Engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9102).
- Experience in auditing and root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
