The role

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Engineer with experience working on equipment, including cold rooms and cellar cooling systems, alongside general refrigeration. This is a varied role combining refrigeration expertise with exposure to commercial catering equipment.

What we offer

  • £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates (OTE £60k+)
  • Door-to-door pay
  • Company van (personal use)
  • Stable workload with a mix of reactive and planned work
  • Supportive management and realistic scheduling

Key responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration systems
  • Working on cold rooms, walk-in fridges/freezers and cellar cooling systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of refrigeration equipment
  • Occasional work on commercial catering equipment where applicable
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Building strong working relationships with customers on-site

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer
  • Relevant qualifications (F-Gas essential)
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A professional and reliable approach

Desirable

  • Electrical fault-finding experience
  • Experience working on commercial catering equipment (e.g. Rational ovens, combi ovens)
  • COMCAT qualifications
