Gardenscapes is an award-winning, luxury outdoor design and build studio. We create thoughtful, beautifully crafted gardens that feel as good to live in as they look.
We’re seeking a talented Garden Designer to join our growing team on a full-time, part-time, or contract basis.
If you’re passionate about luxury garden design, experienced in SketchUp, and enjoy seeing your ideas brought to life from first sketch to finished garden, this is your opportunity to work on truly exceptional projects.
The Role
This is not a ‘design it and move on’ role. At Gardenscapes, our designers stay connected to the entire journey, from concept through to construction, ensuring every detail is considered and beautifully delivered.
Your responsibilities will include
- Developing garden designs using SketchUp, turning initial ideas into fully resolved concepts
- Supporting the Company Owner with client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
- Researching and selecting materials, finishes, and planting schemes tailored to each brief
- Preparing clear proposals, specifications, and quantity take-offs
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have proven experience using SketchUp (essential)
- Have a strong eye for detail and a practical understanding of garden construction
- Are passionate about quality design and creating exceptional outdoor spaces.
- Enjoy problem-solving and refining designs to perfection
- Communicate confidently with clients and respond positively to feedback.
- Work well within a small, collaborative, design-led team
