This post could be considered as a secondment opportunity. The Evaluation Coordinator is a role within GLAM Divisional Office (Gardens, Libraries and Museums) at the University of Oxford. The role-holder will join the dynamic Evaluation and Data Analysis Team working closely with the Evaluation Officer to collect visitor data across the seven GLAM sites (Ashmolean Museum, Bodleian Libraries, Harcourt Arboretum, History of Science Museum, Museum of Natural History, Oxford University Botanic Garden and Pitt Rivers Museum). You will help support volunteers and colleagues to collect visitor surveys. This role presents an exciting opportunity to learn more about evaluation in the cultural sector and gain first-hand experience utilising a variety of evaluation techniques to capture visitor data.
We are looking for a candidate that has valuable transferrable skills with previous work experience in a customer-facing environment who is confident interacting with others. This is a part-time, fixed-term position, working 21.9 hours per week for one year.
About You
- You will have experience of working in a customer-facing role with people from diverse backgrounds.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and to organise your own workload and to work to deadlines.
- You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- You will have a hands-on approach to data collection, particularly survey collection.
