Apprentice Florist
Location: Wimbledon, London
Salary: £8.50 per hour during the first year of the apprenticeship. Future pay will be reviewed in line with apprenticeship and minimum wage regulations.
Hours: 42 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis
Start Date: Summer 2026

Gardenia of London is an independent florist based in Wimbledon, creating flowers for homes, businesses, weddings, and events across London.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in professional floristry whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
No previous floristry experience is required. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, creativity, a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to learn.
As part of our team, you will gain experience across all areas of the business, including retail floristry, weddings, events, customer service and online orders.

Apprenticeship Training
You will complete the LANTRA Level 2 Florist Apprenticeship through The Floristry School.
Most of the apprenticeship is completed through a combination of hands‑on learning at Gardenia and weekly online sessions.
Occasional in‑person training or assessment days may be required throughout the programme.

- GCSE English and Maths required for apprenticeship enrolment.
- Applicants should be able to travel reliably to Wimbledon for early starts, weekend shifts and busy seasonal periods.
