Join a Growing E-commerce Business

Garden Trends is an ambitious and rapidly growing online retailer of Garden Furniture, Outdoor Kitchens, Barbecues and Seasonal Christmas products. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Marketplace Channel Manager to take ownership of our marketplace strategy and accelerate growth across our key Marketplace sales channels. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and wants to make a real commercial impact.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Ecommerce Manager you will have full responsibility for managing and growing our marketplace business across Amazon, B&Q Marketplace, The Range Marketplace and other existing and emerging platforms. You will own the marketplace strategy, oversee day-to-day operations, identify new opportunities for growth and continuously improve sales, profitability and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the marketplace growth strategy.
  • Take full ownership of all marketplace accounts and performance.
  • Manage and optimise product listings, content, SEO and merchandising.
  • Monitor pricing, promotions, stock availability and profitability.
  • Analyse sales trends, customer behaviour and marketplace performance to drive commercial decisions.
  • Ensure account health, compliance and operational excellence across all platforms.
  • Work closely with purchasing, marketing and customer service teams to successfully launch new products.
  • Identify and onboard new marketplace opportunities to support business growth.
  • Produce regular commercial reports with clear recommendations and action plans.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience managing high-performing online marketplace accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, with experience of B&Q Marketplace, The Range Marketplace or similar platforms being highly desirable.
  • A commercial mindset with a track record of increasing online sales and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence using Excel and marketplace reporting tools.
  • Analysing sales data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and competitor activity to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
