We are looking to recruit two part time Distribution Coordinators to support the team at The Depot, our warehouse and distribution facility in Letchworth.
What will I be doing?
You will help service our retail locations with quality stock, collect & process donations, and support income-generating activities including house clearances, restocks and corporate donation days. You will ensure the safe, efficient and professional operation of our warehouse (The Depot), distribution and removals activities while upholding the image and values of Garden House Hospice Care & Trading.
What skills do I need?
- Experience in removals, delivery, distribution, or similar physically active roles.
- A full driving licence with Cat C1 entitlement, with no restrictions preventing insurance cover.
- Confidence working independently, problem-solving and managing varied tasks.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with stores, teams and supporters.
- A positive attitude, strong customer service, and the ability to represent Garden House Hospice Trading professionally.
- Flexibility to work any 5 out of 7 days, including weekends, on a rota basis.
What hours will I be working?
This is a part time role of 20 hours per week on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. The working pattern will be 4 hours per day over 5 days. You will need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and have the ability to adapt to the needs of our growing and changing business.
