We are seeking two experienced fundraisers to join our income generation relationship team, supporting individuals, local sports clubs, community organisations, volunteers, and business fundraising initiatives.
We are Garden House Hospice Care, the Hospice for North Hertfordshire. We are a multi award-winning hospice that puts the patient at the heart of everything we do. It costs us £8.5 million a year to provide our services, and although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise £16,609 every day in charitable income.
What does the Fundraising Coordinator role involve? You will be working as part of the Income Generation Team under the direction of the Relationship Fundraising Manager to grow and develop income and long-term relationships. The Fundraising Coordinator will help to generate income by maximising opportunities to build strong, sustainable relationships throughout North Hertfordshire, Stevenage, Central Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas, supporting a wide range of hospice-led and third-party fundraising initiatives. The role is responsible for delivering excellent supporter journeys, managing and developing community groups and corporate fundraising activity and supporting individuals who are raising money in aid of the Hospice, alongside increasing awareness of the Hospice within the local community.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week. There will be the need to work outside of normal office hours as required, including evening and weekend work. You will need to hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
