The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
We are looking to recruit two part time Distribution Drivers to support the team at The Depot, our warehouse and distribution facility in Letchworth.
What will I be doing?
- You will help service our retail locations with quality stock, collect & process donations, and support income-generating activities including house clearances, restocks and corporate donation days.
- You will ensure the safe, efficient and professional operation of our warehouse (The Depot), distribution and removals activities while upholding the image and values of Garden House Hospice Care & Trading.
What skills do I need?
- Experience in removals, delivery, distribution, or similar physically active roles.
- A full driving licence with Cat C1 entitlement, with no restrictions preventing insurance cover.
- Confidence working independently, problem-solving and managing varied tasks.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with stores, teams and supporters.
- A positive attitude, strong customer service, and the ability to represent Garden House Hospice Trading professionally.
- Flexibility to work any 5 out of 7 days, including weekends, on a rota basis.
What hours will I be working?
This is a part time role of 20 hours per week on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. The working pattern will be 4 hours per day over 5 days. You will need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and have the ability to adapt to the needs of our growing and changing business.
