We are looking for an experienced Garden Aftercare Manager to join our team. Working for Garden Club London, a multi-award winning garden design and build company based in Clerkenwell, we are recruiting for a Garden Aftercare and Planting Manager to oversee our small maintenance team who exclusively look after the gardens that we have built and planted.
This role will require some on-site working initially, dividing time between working with our horticulturists to ensure high quality finishes, setting standards and training, through to meeting clients and working in the office with the operations team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and articulate individual to join our team with excellent opportunities for growth and career development.
Candidate requirements:
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Previous experience 3 years+ in horticulture
- Excellent knowledge of plant establishment and maintenance including pruning and pest control
- Confidently specify planting/basic planting design principles
- Organised and pro-active with good operational planning
- Grow the department to realise the potential and business development opportunity
- Be competent at administrative tasks including Excel, invoicing, ordering and scheduling
- Great communicator who can efficiently listen and has the ability to follow up to internal and external emails and queries
- Knowledge of producing RAMS
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Have a recognised Horticultural qualification and ideally PA1/PA6a, CSCS Card; however, training will be given in some areas.
