Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our ISN Garage Assist team. This field-based role is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by supporting distributor relationships, developing direct customer opportunities, managing key account projects, and delivering on sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and a passion for delivering solutions to the automotive aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distributor Support & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local parts houses and distribution partners. Conduct joint sales calls, training sessions and branch open evenings to drive awareness and sales.
  • Sales Territory Management: Manage and grow sales across an assigned territory in line with agreed targets. Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to support technical sales discussions. Engage directly with end-users (e.g. garages, workshops, fleet operators) to understand needs and present tailored solutions. Provide quotations, technical support, and post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate Key Account projects from initial consultation to final installation. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (service, key accounts manager, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and execution.
  • Day-to-Day Activity Management: Plan and prioritise daily visits, meetings, and follow-ups in the region. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or garage equipment sector with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with both distributors and end users.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confident with presenting and demonstrating technical products.
  • Full UK driving licence (field-based role requiring regular travel).
