Alongside our race programmes, we manage and maintain an extraordinary collection of exclusive road and race vehicles, from iconic Formula 1® cars to rare supercars and breathtaking bespoke creations. We have entered a new, exciting phase of growth and expansion, scaling up our operations and technical capabilities to meet increasing demand and prepare for future race programmes. Centred on our state-of-the-art Technical Centre in Brackley, in the heart of the UK\’s Motorsport Valley, but also at our North American base on the East Coast of the US, we are building a team that reflects our ambitions.
We are now looking for people with a winning mindset and passion for technical excellence to help us shape the next chapter of Garage 59.
We’re looking for a highly skilled Race Engineer to lead the performance and setup direction of our fleet our GT3 race cars competing in the leading GT3 series and prestigious races around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering support for race weekends, test days, and simulator sessions.
- Analyse telemetry, performance data, and driver feedback to optimise car setup and strategy.
- Collaborate with drivers, mechanics, and technical staff to deliver peak performance.
- Contribute to development of car systems and performance tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation of setups, run plans, and post-session reports.
- Support logistical planning and technical preparation for events across the world.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Formula 1®, GT3, WEC, or other top-tier motorsport environments.
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, data analysis, and race strategy.
- Proficiency in tools such as Bosch Wintax, MoTeC, ATLAS, MATLAB, or similar.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
