The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting specialist Electrical Test & Inspection Engineers for a major residential development in Poplar. Working alongside a leading MEP contractor, you will be responsible for the final testing and commissioning of a significant 65-unit phase, with a second phase starting shortly.
The Role
This is a dedicated testing role requiring high attention to detail and efficiency:
- Full Initial Verification and testing of domestic new-build apartments.
- Generating accurate EIC/EICR certificates for project handover.
- Ensuring all work complies with 18th Edition and NHBC standards.
- Maintaining a high volume of "test and sign-off" to meet strict handover deadlines.
Requirements
Qualifications: JIB Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, and City & Guilds or 2394/95 are essential.
Experience: Proven track record in high-volume residential testing/commissioning.
Equipment: Please specify if you provide your own calibrated MFT kit (higher rates available for kit-supplied contractors).
