Small Works and Maintenance Manager Up to £55k plus potential out-of-hours work supplimentary payment We are recruiting for a well-established contractor that delivers maintenance, civil engineering and infrastructure works across the UK.
The business has a strong track record in rail and works directly across live, operational environments.
It has recently secured a new contract covering 26 railway stations and is now looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of reactive and planned works across the portfolio.
The role will focus mainly on building fabric and small civil engineering works.
You will coordinate labour, subcontractors and resources, while making sure work is completed safely, on time and in line with the agreed service levels.
Day-to-day, the role will include: - Managing reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance across 26 stations - Scheduling operatives and coordinating daily workloads - Providing site briefings, technical support and carrying out audits - Managing and monitoring subcontractors - Organising materials, plant, vehicles, tools and equipment - Making sure reactive and PPM KPIs are achieved - Surveying, pricing and quoting additional works - Managing client instructions from request through to completion - Liaising directly with the client and providing regular updates and reports - Keeping job systems, re...
