The Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of complex maintenance, upgrade, and replacement schemes across major transportation infrastructure in Heathrow. This role oversees full end-to-end commercial management, risk mitigation, and financial reporting for large-scale framework contracts. Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Commercial Governance: Manage project costs, contract administration, procurement, monthly cost reconciliations, and financial reporting across complex civil and building packages.
- Risk & Dispute Management: Identify, track, and mitigate commercial risks (cost overruns, scope changes, delays) and liaise with contract service teams to resolve commercial variations and disputes effectively.
- Mentorship & Development: Provide structured mentorship, training, and technical guidance to assistant and junior quantity surveyors, supporting their progress toward professional accreditation (APC/RICS).
- Work-Winning & Pre-Contract: Collaborate closely with pre-contract teams, contributing to resource planning, tendering, and commercial strategy on work-winning initiatives.
