Pipefitter - Commercial & Riser Works
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Rate / Salary: £31.00 per hour (CIS / Umbrella)
Duration: Long-term / Ongoing
About the Role: We are currently recruiting experienced Pipefitters for a multi-storey residential apartment block project in Lewisham. At £31.00/hr, we are looking for skilled fitters to manage main mechanical infrastructure, central plant rooms, energy centres, and multi-storey risers across the development.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of heavy-gauge carbon steel, stainless steel, and press-fit pipework systems.
Commercial riser installation, plant room fit-outs, and energy centre mechanical works.
Fitting pumps, valves, strainers, heat exchangers, and associated central heating equipment.
Reading and fabricating directly from isometric drawings, schematics, and mechanical plans.
Requirements:
Valid CSCS / Skillcard (Pipefitter / Heating & Ventilation).
Proven experience on commercial plant rooms, energy centres, or main residential risers.
Competent in carbon steel, screwed, welded, or press-fit pipework systems.
Full PPE and standard hand/pipefitting tools.
