Electricians (Gold Card) & Skilled Improvers

Location: Surrey / South London Border (RH1 area)

Pay Rates:

  • Electricians: £300.00 Per Day (Based on 8.5 hours / £35.30ph)
  • Improvers: Competitive Day Rates (Dependent on experience)

Payment Options: CIS, Umbrella, or Limited Company

Duration: Long-term contract / Securing Crews for Upcoming Phase

Gapp Search is currently seeking experienced Gold Card Electricians and Skilled Improvers ahead of the next major phase of a high-profile, £500m commercial digital infrastructure project on the Surrey border. We are opening registrations now to ensure full compliance, vetting, and onboarding are completed ahead of upcoming site inductions. Full project specifics and precise site locations will be discussed during the initial telephone screening.

The Requirements:

For Electricians:

  • Valid JIB Gold Card (Approved status highly advantageous).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations & NVQ Level 3.
  • Proven experience in heavy commercial or industrial environments (heavy containment, trunking, ladder rack, and sub-main cabling).

For Skilled Improvers:

  • Valid ECS Improver / Trainee Card (Note: Standard ECS Labourer or classroom-only certificates will not be accepted).
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installations.
  • Solid site experience capable of handling 1st and 2nd fix production work under supervision.

General Requirements:

  • Full complement of your own tools, PPE, and steps.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a zero-compromise approach to site safety.
