About the Employer

We are a leading, well-established mechanical and electrical services provider that has been delivering high-spec M&E packages for the UK's premier residential developers for nearly 30 years. Our pipeline is packed with major multi-dwelling residential schemes and volume housing projects across London and the South East. We don't micromanage; we hire trusted professionals and let them run their jobs. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor who can step onto a busy site, take the reins, and drive the project over the line.

The Role

This isn't a desk job. You'll be the main face on site, bridging the gap between our project managers and the electricians in the plots. What you'll be doing:

  • Running the Site: Overseeing daily progress on-site, managing in-house sparks and sub-contractors from first fix through to finals.
  • Developer Liaison: Attending site meetings, managing expectations, and ensuring handover deadlines are hit.
  • Quality & Safety: Keeping standard of work high, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition/BS 7671, and making sure RAMS are followed to the letter.
  • Snagging & Sign-off: Managing the snagging process tightly to ensure smooth handovers and overseeing the testing and inspection stages.
  • Material Control: Keeping an eye on variations and ensuring kit and materials are tracked and utilized efficiently on site.

What You Need to Bring

We need someone who has come up through the trades, knows the reality of a busy housing or apartment build, and has the authority to run a site effectively.

  • Experience: Solid background as an Electrical Supervisor/Foreman, specifically on residential developments or volume housing.
  • Tickets: NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and a current ECS/JIB Gold Card.
  • Safety: SSSTS is a must (SMSTS is a bonus).
  • Drive: Full UK Driving Licence and the willingness to travel to sites across London and the South East.
  • Mindset: A problem solver who focuses on getting the job done right first time, rather than just pointing out problems.

What's in it for you?

  • Flexibility: They are open to either Permanent (with a competitive salary, pension, and career progression) or Contract (top daily rates with long-term security).
  • The Gear: Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
  • Continuity: No bouncing around from agency to agency.
