Performance Objectives
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical sheets.
- Carry out dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
- Proficient in the use of handheld measuring devices including callipers, gauges, micrometres etc.
- Work to set daily targets.
- Record non-conformances in a descriptive manner.
- Signing C of C (training provided).
- Completing first off and final inspection.
Person Specification
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an aerospace inspection environment.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings & specifications.
- Use of handheld measuring equipment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of inspection processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of CMM.
- Experience of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
