Metal Polisher / Finisher
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 10am-6pm. Competitive + OT. Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.
- Performance Objectives
- Responsible for ensuring specific polishing trimming operations are carried out
- Fully competent in grinding, drilling, punching and using band saws.
- Experience in using measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers/protractors & Micrometers.
- Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices and reports deviations from H&S good practice immediately.
Person Specification
- Some basic self-inspection required
- Health & Safety Training
- Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to polishing and spraying machines
- Experience in a Metal Polishing / Trimming working environment
