The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture, assembly, inspection, and handling of aerospace components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble aerospace components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Operate production equipment, machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform in-process inspections and visual quality checks to ensure products conform to specification.
- Complete all manufacturing and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining full product traceability.
- Follow all company procedures relating to quality, health and safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Work safely at all times and comply with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including face fit mask
Essential
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, gauges, hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy for recording production and quality information.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
