- Role Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment.
- Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Fault finding on PLC‑controlled machinery.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with food manufacturing standards.
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
Person Specification
- Relevant Electrical or Mechanical qualifications (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, sensors, and control systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced production environment.
- Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
