Maintenance Technician Β£33,800 Wrexham Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Site Maintenance Technician to work at their facility based near Wrexham Performance Objectives Respond to equipment breakdowns, production lines, plant and machinery, diagnose and repair applying fault finding and repair skills with minimum downtime to operations. Communicate with other departments, providing regular updates on repair timelines and potential impacts. Assist with developing planned maintenance schedules for routine inspections on equipment, building and facility inspections optimising time and resources effectively. Conduct routine equipment, building and facility inspections to ensure ongoing functionality and compliance, report maintenance needs, repairs and potential issues. Supervise and support contractors/tradesmen (e.g. electricians, plumbers, engineers) during installations, repairs or maintenance tasks. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring the availability of necessary materials and equipment. Contribute to projects coordination (e.g. cost reductions initiatives and operational improvements). Maintain strict adherence to quality, environmental and health and safety regulations.
