gap technical are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team at a leading food manufacturing site. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, utilities, and site services while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hygiene.
Performance Objectives
Perform reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical equipment (if competent).
Maintain site utilities, buildings, and support services, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and minimize disruption.
Ensure that all work meets Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Hygiene standards.
Person Specification
