Location: Near Faversham

Rate: £30.15-£35.15 per hour (PAYE)

Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off Days / Nights

Gap Technical is proud to represent an industry-leading business in their search for an Electrically Biased Contract Maintenance Engineer to support their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to operations by swiftly responding to equipment breakdowns.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and proactively address recurring machine processing faults.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults efficiently using machine history and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Train operational staff to perform minor maintenance tasks and assist in major repairs.
  • Maintain and repair machinery to a high standard, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce engineering downtime.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally, a time-served engineering apprenticeship.
  • 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (Minimum).
  • Experience in Food, FMCG, or Automated Storage is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
