Metal Assembly Worker
Monday – Friday 6am–2pm, Temp to Perm, Competitive salary + OT, Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.
gap technical is proud to represent a global manufacturing business searching for a Metal Assembly Worker at their facility near Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.
Responsibilities
- Ensure polishing and trimming operations are carried out correctly.
- Operate grinding, drilling, punching and band saw machines.
- Use measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers, protractors and micrometers.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report any deviations from health & safety practices immediately.
Qualifications
- Basic self‑inspection skills.
- Health & Safety training.
- Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment.
- Understanding of health & safety requirements for polishing and spraying machines.
- Experience in a metal polishing / trimming working environment.
- Experience with both hand and power tools.
