Gap Construction is a well‑established, family‑run construction and building maintenance contractor based in King's Lynn. With a strong reputation across East Anglia and a consistent pipeline of work, the business is known for its long‑standing client relationships and quality delivery across sectors including commercial, hospitality, pubs, retail and refurbishment.

Due to continued growth, we are hiring a Contracts Coordinator / Operational Administrator to support the smooth running of projects from instruction through to completion. This varied and important role within the operational team supports live projects, updates customer portals, coordinates information and ensures contracts run efficiently across the retail and hospitality division.

Performance Objectives
  • Supporting contracts from initial instruction through to completion
  • Updating customer portals and internal systems
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and site teams
  • Assisting with scheduling, documentation and operational administration
  • Ensuring project information is accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the wider contracts and operations team on live projects
Person Specification
  • Previous experience within construction administration, coordination or operations support
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Confident using IT systems and customer portals
  • Construction industry experience would be advantageous
