Blackburn gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for an Injection Moulding Setter to work at their facility based near Blackburn.
Performance Objectives
- The key responsibilities of the role will be to adhere to all Health & Safety, Hygiene Regulations and Safe Working procedures to manufacture plastic containers to the following KPI's:
- Minimum 85% Machine Availability
- Minimum 100% Cycle Speed Efficiency
- Maximum 1.3% Scrap with Zero impounds or Customer Complaints
Person Specification
- Trained in the safe operation of Injection Moulding machines.
- Capable of conducting safe and efficient tool changes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques an advantage but not essential.
- Skilled Communicator.
- Strong team worker.
- Flexibility and Prioritisation of tasks.
- Ability to follow multiple processes and procedures correctly.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement within the Cell.
- Computer skills i.e., basic Microsoft office competency.
- Using setting skills and initiative to positively influence the cell performance.
