- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing electronic issues with aviation headsets, leads, and adaptors, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Learn and support the new build process for aviation equipment, including assembling and testing components to ensure proper functionality and quality.
- Develop basic soldering skills under the supervision of experienced technicians, practicing precision soldering techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
- Gain familiarity with technician drawings and schematics, learning how to interpret technical specifications and identify components and connections.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, assisting with inspections and testing to ensure that repairs and new builds meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities, documenting work performed, parts used, and testing results in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with general workshop duties, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
