Continental Days & Nights (2 Days/2 Nights/4 Off)

gap technical are proud to be representing this market leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multiskilled Engineer to work at their facility based near Northwich.

What you will contribute:

  • To ensure delivery of the Engineering support to the Northwich site across 24/7 enabling the Engineering team to provide the required levels of service in support of the manufacturing strategy.
  • To ensure the safe, effective and efficient running of the department is maintained through the engineering shift teams.
  • To ensure daily workloads are prioritised and delivered in compliance with site policies and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of a shift engineering team in providing support to the operations team.
  • Operate as senior engineering point of contact for Shift Managers.
  • Support Short Interval Control, and daily end of shift review meetings with Shift Managers.
  • Participate in Improvement Groups e.g. wastage reduction.
  • Complete a clear and comprehensive handover to incoming shift engineering team.

What you will bring:

  • A fully qualified Multiskilled Engineer with at least 5 years experience.
  • Apprenticeship trained.
  • Minimum BTEC ONC/ Level 3 Qualified.
  • Must be electrically qualified with certification.
  • Experienced in leading a team.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to coach and support others.
  • FMCG experienced, preferably food industry.
  • Comfortable working both in a team and alone.
