Performance Objectives:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of forklift trucks and other material handling / plant equipment
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults
- Deliver high-quality customer service on site
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation via electronic tablets
- Work independently with dealer support and resources
Person Specification:
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Technician, or similar
- NVQ in Plant Maintenance or Forklift Trucks (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A positive, professional approach with pride in your work
Essential:
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a good engineering background in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems; ideally you will be a multi-skilled engineer with a very good customer focus.
