Gap Construction are working with a well-established, family-run construction and building maintenance contractor based in King's Lynn. With a strong reputation across East Anglia and a consistent pipeline of work, the business is known for its long-standing client relationships and quality delivery across sectors including commercial, hospitality, pubs, retail, and refurbishment.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Site Manager / Working Foreman on a permanent basis to support projects across the region. The role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and fit-out projects, often within live retail and hospitality environments. Due to the spread of works, location is a key consideration, with suitable candidates ideally based around Huntingdon, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Wisbech, or the surrounding areas.
Performance Objectives- Managing day-to-day site activities and subcontractors.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Assisting with site paperwork and progress reporting.
- Coordinating trades and maintaining programme deadlines.
- Working closely with clients and operational teams throughout projects.
- Supporting delivery across retail, hospitality, and refurbishment works.
- Previous experience as a Working Foreman or Site Manager.
- Background within refurbishment, fit-out, retail, or hospitality projects.
- SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid preferred.
- Hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence required.
