gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a production operator / manufacturing operator to work at their facility based near Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.
Performance Objectives- Responsible for ensuring specific polishing trimming operations are carried out.
- Fully competent in grinding, drilling, punching and using band saws.
- Experience in using measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers/protractors & Micrometers.
- Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices - report deviation from H&S good practice immediately.
- Some basic self-inspection required.
- Health & Safety Training.
- Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to polishing and spraying machines.
- Experience in a Metal Polishing / Trimming working environment.
