Continental Days & Nights (2 Days/2 nights/4 off)
gap technical are proud to be representing this market leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multiskilled Engineer to work at their facility based near Northwich.
What you will contribute:
- To ensure delivery of the Engineering support to the Northwich site across 24/7 enabling the Engineering team to provide the required levels of service in support of the manufacturing strategy.
- To ensure the safe, effective and efficient running of the department is maintained through the engineering shift teams.
- To ensure daily workloads are prioritised and delivered in compliance to site policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of a shift engineering team in providing support to the operations team.
- Operate as senior engineering point of contact for Shift Managers.
- Support Short Interval Control, and daily end of shift review meetings with Shift Managers.
- Participate in Improvement Groups e.g. wastage reduction.
- Complete a clear and comprehensive handover to incoming shift engineering team.
What you will bring:
- A fully qualified Multiskilled Engineer with at least 5 years experience.
- Apprenticeship trained.
- Minimum BTEC ONC/ Level 3 Qualified.
- Must be electrically qualified with certification.
- Experienced in leading a team.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to coach and support others.
- FMCG experienced, preferably food industry.
- Comfortable working both in a team and alone.
