Type: Temporary Manchestergap technical are recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join a leading manufacturing business based in Wrexham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional with experience in control panel wiring and assembly.
Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Wire and assemble electrical control panels to specification.
Install and terminate wiring looms.
Carry out crimping using both hand-operated and battery-powered crimping tools.
Work with a wide range of cable types and sizes, from 0.5mm to 120mm Install electrical control panels and associated equipment.
Install and connect circuit breakers ranging from 100A to 2000A.
Complete Current Transformer (CT) wiring.
Install PLC controllers and Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs).
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
Follow engineering drawings and company procedures throughout the build process.
Qualifications & Experience NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Apprentice-trained candidates are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Fitter within a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential.
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong knowledge of control panel wiring, AC/DC circuits, and industrial electrical systems.
