An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious research and innovation campus. This is a fantastic chance to work within a highly technical environment, supporting the maintenance and reliability of critical facilities and infrastructure.
Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a diverse range of systems and equipment, ensuring the site continues to operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across building services and site infrastructure.
- Support the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
- Complete maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide emergency support when required.
- Work closely with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders across the campus.
- Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Experience carrying out electrical maintenance within commercial, industrial, manufacturing, research, or critical environments.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, control systems, and building services equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Salary up to £41,000 per year including on-call allowance.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
