Contract Maintenance Engineer – Multi Skilled £35.00p/h – Outside IR35 – Mold
Gap technical are proud to be partnering with a leading National Manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond efficiently to equipment breakdowns across production areas.
- Carry out planned and proactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery.
- Diagnose faults using technical documentation and machine history.
- Work collaboratively with production teams and support staff.
- Assist and train operational staff on minor maintenance tasks.
- Ensure machinery is maintained to high standards to reduce downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Ideal Candidate
- Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship (preferred).
- Strong mechanical skills, ideally multi-skilled.
- Previous experience in Food / FMCG / Packaging sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
