Days Only (Mon-Fri)
Performance Objectives:
- Inspection of all major components on a variety of equipment replacing parts as required.
- Completion of daily reports in a timely manner and ensure that all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Carry out warranty repairs as required.
- Provide technical support to both Customers and workshop personnel along with guidance and training where required.
- Support, foster and demonstrate compliance of H&S regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Person Specification:
Educational Requirements:- Mechanical or electrical engineering certification or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.
- IPAF 3a, 3b, LOLER, FLT certification or any other certification obtained in the access industry.
- Minimum two to four years of experience in the field or a role in a similar environment.
- Aerial work platforms industry experience strongly preferred but not essential.
- Ability to understand electric and hydraulic circuits and schematics with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Relevant product knowledge would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, specifically around technical aspects of the equipment.
- Must be able to understand technical data.
- Ability to assist end user and customers with service and repair tasks, including proper use of resources and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently, be highly organised and motivated.
