gap technical are proud to be representing an established manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Deeside.

Performance Objectives

  • Promote and Carry out Preventative Maintenance
  • Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
  • Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications
  • Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines
  • Installation of new machines and equipment when required
  • Actively promote safe working practices
  • Review and Advise on Engineering requirements
  • Work with and Coordinate Contractors as and when required
  • To contribute to company objectives and values
  • To adhere to Company Rules / Health and Safety / Environmental Standards and Practices
  • To attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.
  • Continuously look for improvements to the service and for effective good practice within the role.
  • Alignment with the company\’s core values

Person Specification

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer NVQ 3 / City & Guids
  • Technical knowledge of food process equipment and wrapping machine
  • To have excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and management skills are always an asset.
