Performance Objections

• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, repairs & MOTs on HGV\’s, Trailers, Pool Cars & Other Plant to VOSA standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical & electrical faults using Texa diagnostic equipment
• Dismantle, repair / replace faulty components and test the new ones are working safely
• Liaise with HGV workshop administrator to order vehicle parts
• Good communication and maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment Person Specification

Person Specification

• 4+ Years of HGV / Plant Technician experience
• Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Holds valid HGV Class 1 (C&E) Licence (Desirable)
• MOT Preparation Experience – Tractor Units & Trailers
• Previous experience working with HGV\’s and Plant, basic welding skills, hydraulic & auto electrical skills
• Hardworking and can work well under pressure in a safe and responsible manner
• IRTEC Accreditation (Desirable)
• Loler competence – experience in undertaking loler inspections – LEEA Apply
