Performance Objectives:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of forklift trucks and other material handling / plant equipment
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults
- Deliver high-quality customer service on site
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation via electronic tablets
- Work independently with dealer support and resources
Person Specification:
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Technician, or similar
- NVQ in Plant Maintenance or Forklift Trucks (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A positive, professional approach with pride in your work
Essential:
- Good engineering background in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems; ideally a multi-skilled engineer with a very good customer focus.
- Industry Qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.) or equivalent
- Experience IT user as we use tablets to record job information
- Current Driving License with no more than 6 points on licence
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Forklift Truck Operators License although not essential
