Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimise disruption to production.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and implement corrective actions for recurring faults.
  • Prioritise maintenance activities within your designated production area.
  • Diagnose faults efficiently using technical documentation and machine history.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
  • Support and train operators in basic maintenance tasks and assist with more complex repairs when required.
  • Maintain machinery in line with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and improving reliability.

Candidate Requirements

  • Completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship (preferred).
  • Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Previous experience within food, FMCG, or packaging manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
