gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a CNC Machinist to work at their facility based near Wrexham.

Performance Objectives

You'll work in our small workshop producing and repairing precision components. The work varies from shaft repairs, manufacturing seal faces, custom components, rebuilt assemblies. You'll be expected to read drawings, hold tight tolerances and work with a degree of autonomy. We work primarily on manual lathes and milling machines. Experience with CNC turning or milling is a genuine advantage and something we are looking to develop further, though it is not a requirement if your manual skills are strong.

Person Specification

You'll have solid experience in a machining environment and be comfortable working to engineering drawings and tight tolerances. We're open to all levels; if you're highly experienced we want to hear from you, and if you're a strong all-rounder looking to develop further, we're equally interested.
