Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing an established manufacturing Business in their search for an industrial installation electrician.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical installation, including containment, wiring, panels, and equipment.
- Fault finding and diagnostics across electrical systems.
- Planned and reactive maintenance of electrical installations.
- Emergency lighting testing, inspection, and compliance.
- Conducting testing, inspection, and certification as required.
- Ensuring all work adheres to current electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Completion of detailed job reports and documentation.
- Professional liaison with site managers and clients.
- Proficient in the installation of containment systems, including basket, tray, and ladder.
- Experience with underground duct work and cable pulling.
- Competent in making of cables up to 300mm and glanding armoured cables.
- Skilled in fault finding and replacing components such as contactors, relays, etc.
- Experience with wall chasing for electrical installations.
- Expertise in first and second fixing for residential properties.
- Strong understanding and experience with 3-phase systems.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, driven by efficiency and precision.
Requirements:
- Time-served Electrical Engineer / Electrician.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- JIB Gold Card holder.
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
- Competent in fault finding and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently on site.
- Full UK driving licence.
