gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Technician to work at their facility based near Trafford Park.
Performance Objectives:
- Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed.
- All planned maintenance tasks, change overs, other additional work as required by engineering manager.
- Diagnose breakdown faults - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, process.
- Permitting compliance with safety requirements and liaison and coordination with other Departments as required.
- Ensures equipment, materials and tools are on-hand for work execution.
- Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required whilst keeping all tasks & activities logged and up-dated.
- Equipment Problems Trouble-shooting and Basic Root Cause Analysis and Development of Solutions.
- Provide Technical Support to all machine breakdowns and changeovers.
Person Specification:
- Apprentice trained to ONC / HNC / C&G Level 3.
- Able to read Hydraulics / pneumatics circuits.
- Read and produce mechanical drawings.
- Carried out PPM on mechanical equipment.
- Electrical and Mechanical ability essential.
- Complex problem solving and fault finding experience.
- Attention to Detail.
- Ability to work and learn independently.
